In 1994, graduated from Moscow State University, economics department (Economic cybernetics) and New Economic School (Master of Economics).
In 1997, graduated from Duke University (South Carolina, USA), Master of Economics.
From 1994 worked as a consultant, seniour expert, CEO and scientific adviser of Economic Expert Group of the Russian Ministry of Finance.
Since 2000 is an expert of Centre for Strategic Research.
In August 2000 became an adviser to the Minister for Economic Development of the Russian Federation and in 2001 — Deputy Minister of Economic Development.
In 2004-2008 headed the Expert Group of the President of the Russian Federation.
In 2008-2012 was Assistant to the Russian President.
Since 21 May 2012 has been Deputy Prime Minister of Russia.
